Sweet Melissa is a home based business located in Middletown, DE.
I have been creating decorative cakes and cookies for over 10 years,
and finally started a business of my own from my home.
Everything is handmade, with attention given to every detail.
I believe that everything should not only look perfect,
but it should also taste nothing less than delicious !

I offer custom cookies, which are perfect as favors.
They are buttery sugar cookies, with my signature lemon butter frosting.
They are individually bagged, with a coordinating ribbon. If you look through my gallery of photos, just click on a photo you like for pricing information.
Don't be afraid to ask me a question!
They can also be personalized with tags to make a complete favor.

I also offer many flavors of cupcakes and frostings. My personal favorite
is the dark chocolate cupcakes with the cookies 'n cream frosting! Delish!
Handmade cupcake toppers are also available...
you can even add an edible photo for that "wow" factor!
No matter what you select, cupcakes always make it fun!

The possibilities are endless.....Wedding Cakes, Birthday Cakes,
Baby & Bridal Shower Cakes, Graduations, or just for fun.
All cakes can be custom made to suit your style. I am always up for a challenge!
I have a small gallery on the website of recent cake projects. If
you have a particular design in mind, I can replicate to the best of my
ability, and even add a twist to it to make it your own.

Ordering:
If you would like to place an order or ask a question,
please email me with all of your order information.
I will get back to you as soon as possible.
The minimum cookie order is 1 dozen (per design).
The minimum cupcake order is 1 dozen (per flavor).
The minimum cake order is 20 servings.
A minimum of 5 days lead time is preferred for all orders. ( I am flexible!)
Delivery/ Shipping/ Pick-up:
Sweet Melissa is based out of Middletown, Delaware.
I will deliver cookies or cupcakes
anywhere within a 5 mile radius free of charge.
Other than that, delivery charges will be applied.
Otherwise, you are welcome to pick them up in person.
Cookies can also be shipped to you directly.
I am not responsible for any damaged cookies when shipping them.
They are packaged very carefully, but please keep in mind that some
of the time a couple cookies will break or crack.
You may want to order a couple extra cookies...just in case!
Payment:
Payment is due on the day of delivery/pick-up. or day items are shipped.
Orders over $150 require a 50% non-refundable deposit 1 week prior.
I now accept online payments ! You can also mail payments via check.
Please contact me for directions on making online payments.
Customizing:
Please feel free to email me with any questions you may have,
or if you would like to discuss a custom cookie/cupcake/cake idea.
I can customize any of the featured items to
match the color and theme that you would like.
Sizing:
Most cookies are about 4 inches wide/tall at their largest point.
Some are smaller, some larger, but this is the average size.
If you would like to know the exact size of a certain cookie, just ask!
Cake sizing will vary on the amount of servings needed.
